Lesson 100: The Greatest Accomplishment
First of all, here's a shout-out to 100 lessons down. Woot woot!!
Now, this lesson, once again, made me want to roll my eyes and say "I don't need to explore this." So, I'm exploring it.
The general question is, which of my dreams are still true to me now?
Let's review..
-In my imagination I learn how to fly and I own my own plane.
This dream came to me after visiting an Air Force Base. Being next to the planes made me want to fly them and get a pilot's license. For this current activity, I think it was just a spark to help me remember what some of my big dreams have been. While flying would be super cool, I'm not particularly interested in spending that much time and energy on flight school. It's a no-more.
-I never "need" to work again because I have money to support me and all that I want to do the rest of my life. I work only doing the things that I feel passionate about.
In its essence, this is true. Maybe a truer way of saying it now would be I am driven from my passions. Because doing what I love drives me, the money follows and is not a concern. I always have what I need and want to further my passions and life. This is a rough draft, but better than the first version.
-I support other people's dreams.
-I set up trusts for my friends to live off of where they can live off the interest.
Honestly, when I think about giving money to other people, I really also think about them squandering it and then asking for more. There is a reason people are "broke" and it doesn't matter what their income is. That being said, I love helping people when and where I can. I am naturally a generous person. I do believe in teaching people to fish more than handing them fish. If I were to help people, it would likely be through education (of some kind) than hand-outs. These two have some validity, but it's case-by-case and not just generally handing people a bunch of money.
-I do bodywork because I love it.
Yes, but I'd like to clarify. I currently do bodywork as my profession. Sometimes I love it; sometimes it is drudging. Being in a financially prosperous place, I don't necessarily want to do this for a living. But I would miss it if I didn't do it at all. I like doing it for people who ask me at whatever rate they can pay.
-I own multiple houses - several in the US, and some abroad.
Maybe. I definitely own one house. It's not large. It just has a yard. Do we need to own multiple houses with Airbnb's available?
I spend the year in the parts of the world I most desire, depending what time of year.
Yes
I have the ability to bring my dog with me easily wherever I go.
Yes
My parents are fully supported financially, living where they choose. I get them places in a retirement community if they want to be there. Otherwise, they can be where they want.

I own the house on Kyrene and Warner where myself and my friends can come and go as we choose.
